Software Engineer

Location: Sydney (hybrid) or remote within Australia
Type: Permanent, full‑time
Team: Core+ Product & Engineering

Why this role exists

Core Integrity’s Core+ platform helps organisations manage speak‑up reports and people‑risk issues securely and ethically. As a Software Engineer, you’ll build privacy‑first, accessible features that make it easier for people to be heard and for clients to act with integrity.

What you’ll do

  • Design, build and ship secure, well‑tested features for the Core+ web application and APIs.
  • Implement integrations (e.g., Microsoft Entra ID SSO) and automate identity/permission flows.
  • Collaborate with product, investigators and hotline operations to translate real‑world workflows into elegant product experiences.
  • Uphold engineering best practice: code reviews, automated tests, CI/CD, performance and observability.
  • Champion security by design (OWASP, least‑privilege, audit logging, secrets hygiene) and accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA).
  • Contribute to technical planning, documentation and continuous improvement across the SDLC.
  • Participate in lightweight on‑call rotations for critical incidents (within business hours by default).

What you’ll bring

  • Solid experience building production web apps using a modern stack (e.g., TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, React/Vue/Angular or similar).
  • Strong grounding in API design (REST/GraphQL), authentication/authorisation, and relational databases.
  • Hands‑on with cloud platforms (ideally Azure) and CI/CD (GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps).
  • A product mindset—balancing secure engineering with usability and delivery.
  • Clear communication, pragmatic problem‑solving and a willingness to pair, review and learn.
  • Commitment to confidentiality, ethics and handling sensitive data appropriately.

Nice to have

  • Experience with event‑driven architectures, telemetry/observability, or infrastructure as code.
  • Knowledge of Australian Privacy Principles, Essential Eight, ISO 27001 or SOC 2 practices.
  • Background in trust & safety, case management, investigations or compliance tech.
  • Familiarity with data visualisation (e.g., Power BI) or basic ML/AI augmentation patterns.

What’s in it for you

  • Meaningful work that protects people and improves workplace cultures.
  • Hybrid flexibility, learning budget and clear pathways for growth.
  • Supportive, values‑led team that prizes accountability and curiosity.

Zoho Dashboard Contractor

Location: Sydney (hybrid) or remote within Australia
Type: Contract (project‑based)

Why this role exists

We are a consultancy specialising in integrity risk management, delivering work through both time & materials and retainer models. We operate on Zoho One (CRM, Projects, Desk), but our current setup limits our ability to monitor and measure project performance effectively. We’re seeking a highly experienced Zoho contractor to lead the development of a robust, insightful operations dashboard (with primary focus on Zoho Projects), alongside system configuration improvements, quoting/proposal setup, and integration with Xero for invoicing.

What you’ll do

  • Build an operations dashboard in Zoho (Projects + Analytics) for project and financial visibility.
  • Optimise Zoho Projects configuration for accurate tracking and reusable templates.
  • Set up quoting and proposal workflows integrated with CRM and Projects.
  • Implement Xero integration for automated invoicing and compliance.
  • Deliver training, documentation and a smooth handover.

What you’ll bring

  • Deep proficiency across **Zoho One**—especially Zoho Projects, Zoho CRM, Zoho Analytics and Zoho Desk.
  • Demonstrated experience building operations/reporting dashboards.
Strong understanding of service delivery models.
  • Hands‑on experience integrating Zoho ↔ Xero (or similar accounting systems).
  • Excellent problem‑solving, clear communication and stakeholder alignment.
  • Ability to work autonomously and deliver to agreed timelines.

Nice to have

  • Zoho Creator custom app experience for bespoke quoting/proposals.
  • Familiarity with Zoho Books/Invoice and advanced billing workflows.
  • Experience in financial controls, audit readiness and data quality governance.
  • Prior work translating complex operational data for non‑technical audiences.

What’s in it for you

  • Clear, outcome‑focused scope with defined deliverables and ownership.
  • Shape how the business monitors performance and invoicing accuracy.
  • Practical collaboration with an internal ops team and direct access to decision‑makers.
