Enhancements to the Corethix Platform

Corethix announces major new Product Enhancements to provide a new feature called “User dashboard privileges”.

The team at Corethix are excited to announce we are releasing a major enhancement to how clients can view and interact with the platform’s Dashboards.

The new release, called “User Dashboard privileges” extends the accessibility and utility of our Dashboards by allowing administrators to assign dashboard privileges to certain selected users from across the organisation. Now, for the first time, it’s not just Administrators who can access Dashboards. Administrators can now assign Dashboard privileges to selected users from across the organisation to allow them to access and interrogate the data of specific dashboards.

Use Cases

Executives and Board of Directors: If you want to provide members of your Executive team and/or Board of Directors visibility of how your organisation is performing you can now provide access to any and all of your dashboards so they can see how the organisation is performing across your key integrity risk categories without having to make them an Administrator.

Team Leaders & Managers: For organisations with differing risk and compliance obligations across various functions and locations where you need to ensure that your team members have the appropriate work-related certificates to perform their role, you can now provide access to your Team Leaders and Managers to enable them to review and inspect key work related certificates such as licenses, working with children checks, first aid certificates and so on.

These enhancements have come about as a result of our highly engaged customers who use and interact with the Corethix platform everyday.

Below we outline how to set up and configure user dashboard privileges.

How to setup and configure User dashboard privileges.

Currently only Administrators have the ability to view Dashboards however with this new enhancement, now Administrators can configure a user to have access to view dashboards based on their role and/or location.

When a user is assigned with a dashboard privilege, the “Dashboard” option will appear on their home page menu list. When they select this option, they will only be able to view the dashboards and data configured for them. The user does not have access to the “Setup Company”, Setup Users”, Setup Modules” or “Support” settings options.

Note – When a user is assigned with a dashboard privilege, then for enhanced security they will automatically be required to log in to the Corethix platform with two factor authentication (2FA).

User dashboard privileges are configured in the Administrators settings page as detailed below;

a. Firstly select “Add user” and a new popup window will appear.

b. Select which dashboard you would like the user to be able to view. Note that you can only add one dashboard at a time using this setting.

c. Search for, and then select the user that you wish to add dashboard privileges.

d. To save your options, select “Add user privileges”.

Repeat these steps if you want to allow this user to be able to view multiple dashboards.

The next step is to define what data is displayed on the dashboard page that the user now has access to.

e. To do this select “Edit” for that user and a new popup window will appear.

f and g. you can now select what regions and locations will be displayed on the dashboard for this user. Select the “All” option if you wish the user to see all regions and locations.

h. You can also limit the dashboard data for this user to specific functions, or all functions.

i. If you wish the user to be able to perform dashboard actions like viewing incidents, verifying certificates or sending reminder emails then you will need to enable this option. By default, this option is off.

j. Select “Update” to save your user dashboard privileges configuration.

This update will be initiated over the coming week so look out for it when you are next in the platform. As always, our online training manuals will have these new updates incorporated at the time of the release.
